About PACE

Since 1990, Pacesetter Aquatics has been developing confident, skilled, and determined swimmers of all ages and abilities. From first time swimmers to elite competitors, we provide the training, support, and team culture to help every athlete reach their potential. Pace athlete’s have competed at every level – local, state, national, college, and international – but our story is bigger than medals and time drops. It is about young athletes learning how to work hard, support their teammates, chase goals, and grow through the sport.

Training for Every Swimmer

Every swimmer develops differently. That is why PACE athletes are placed into practice groups through coach evaluations rather than age alone.

Our coaches consider age, skill level, technique, training ability, and individual progression to place each athlete in an environment where they can be successful, challenged, and continue to improve.

As swimmers develop, their group placement can change with them.

Interested in Joining PACE?

New swimmers begin with an evaluation so our coaches can get to know them, see where they are in their development, and recommend the practice group that best fits them.

No matter where your swimmer is starting, we can help them find their next step.

Head Coach · Elite

Michael Pepa

Coach Mike has more than 30 years of coaching experience at the club, high school, collegiate, and masters levels. His history with PACE dates back to 1991, and after several years coaching with Lakeside Swim Team, he returned in 2015 to lead both Pacesetter Aquatics and the Jeffersonville High School swimming program.

Throughout his career, Coach Mike has helped athletes develop from young age-group swimmers into high school standouts, collegiate athletes, conference champions, record holders, and All-Americans.

Head Age Group Coach

Tyler Sariscany

Tyler's connection to PACE started as an athlete in 2008. After swimming for Jeffersonville High School and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, he returned to the program as a coach in 2019 and became Head Age Group Coach in 2023.

Zak Griffis

A former PACE, Jeffersonville High School, and Transylvania University swimmer, Zak brings both competitive experience and an understanding of the progression young athletes need as they move into more advanced training.

Zak also continues to compete himself through Masters swimming, keeping him closely connected to the sport both as a coach and an athlete.

Silver Group Coach

Hallie Dixon

Coach Hallie grew up swimming for PACE before continuing her career at McKendree University, where she competed as a distance freestyle and individual medley swimmer and earned All-American honors in the 400 IM.

She now brings that experience to PACE's Silver Group, helping young swimmers build strong technique, training habits, confidence, and the foundation they will need as they progress through the program.

Bronze Group Coach

Lindsey Keller

Coach Lindsey's connection to PACE began in 2010 when she joined the team as a swimmer. She later joined the Jeffersonville Aquatic Club coaching staff, working with age-group swimmers on technique, skill development, and competitive confidence.

With PACE's youngest athletes, her focus is on building great fundamentals, confidence in the water, and an early love for the sport.
